New Hip-hop companies forming
Inter ages 9 and up on Tuesday 7:00-8:00 and
Adv ages 13 and up on Wednesday 8:30-9:30. 
No ballet required.  Just Hip-hop mania. 
They will compete in one or two competitions in the spring.

There are still limited openings in our Jazz/contemporary/ballet/lyrical/Tap companies.  Please call for audition.

DAL competition group travels to local area competitions (Woodbridge, Fairfax etc.)  and Lancaster and Virginia Beach for nationals.  Dancers compete in groups, solos, duos, trios.  We offer a positive team experience for everyone on our team.  Our goal is to be encouraging to all members no matter what level, age or experience.   Trips to NYC are planned this year as well as guest workshops and area performances.  Performance in Disney every other year.  Annual Nutcracker this year is at Franklin Performing Arts Center in Purcellville.

We have groups for dancers ages 8 and up that have at least one full year of dance experience.  Many start in our rec program, which has less commitments and then move to the more advanced levels as they progress or wish to commit the time required.    All dancers are required ballet, since that is the basis for everything in dance.  One ballet class a week is all that is required for  most groups.  Group and levels are picked by the teacher based on level, age, and performance ability.  All questions on level are to be made in private and only to the teacher or director.   Not all dancers are placed in the same group, but all dancers are considered equal and given equal due no matter what level or parental involvement.  Attendance and hours vary with dancers and it is taken into account for groups, but just taking in less hours does not mean we think less of the dancer, we know they may have other commitments they wish to pursue.  Dancers that do commit more will be placed in groups more committed but all dancers are considered as individuals with a place to dance.
